The Office of Disability Employment Policy
of the U.S. Department of Labor awarded one of three national
WorkFORCE Action grants to The Arc of Tennessee, in partnership
with: Center on Disability
and Employment, The University of Tennessee; Workforce
Connections, Community Action Committee; and TransCen, Inc.
This 5-year grant will allow us to continue disability employment
policy changes and capacity development for One-stop Career
Centers to serve individuals targeted by the Olmstead decision.
