Veronica McKinney, Account Representative
The DRS Corporate Connections Account Representative is a regional employment resource providing services to Tennessee businesses. This single point of contact will assist employers in recruiting and retaining qualified employees. Additional services to companies include training, technical assistance, and consultation. Account Representatives specialize in working with Tennessee employers to promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The services are funded by the TN Division of Rehabilitation Services and administered by The University of Tennessee. Veronica's counties of responsibility include Shelby and Fayette.
Veronica’s experience over the past 23 years has led to her success in providing employment services for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. She has worked with various local, state programs, including five years as a Vocational Placement Specialist with Southeast Mental Health Center in Memphis, to provide individuals with educational services and benefits counseling. She has conducted training and marketed programs to enhance opportunities for people within their communities. Veronica holds a B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education.
