Tina Jones, Account Representative
The DRS Corporate Connections Account Representative is a regional employment resource providing services to Tennessee businesses. This single point of contact will assist employers in recruiting and retaining qualified employees. Additional services to companies include training, technical assistance, and consultation. Account Representatives specialize in working with Tennessee employers to promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The services are funded by the TN Division of Rehabilitation Services and administered by The University of Tennessee.
Tina holds a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Tennessee and has more than fifteen years experience in the fields of human resources, recruiting, administration, public relations, and marketing. Her public relations and marketing background is currently focused on building employment relationships with business leaders. As a resource for businesses, she provides consultation, technical assistance, and training to assist companies interested in recruiting a more diversified workforce. Through her work with community non-profit organizations and state and federal agencies she is working to develop and promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Prior to this position, Tina was a corporate recruiter with a rehabilitation company that provided health care professionals to skilled care nursing facilities within a 10 state region. During 1986 – 1996 Tina was employed as a Research Associate with the University of Tennessee subcontracted to Lockheed Martin Energy Systems in Oak Ridge, TN. Tina is a member of the Tennessee Valley Human Resources Association, Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership, and Oak Ridge Human Resource Association.
