Formerly UT-TIE, this organization gained new recognition from The University of Tennessee to become the Center on Disability and Employment. A center status expands existing services and outreach as it

  • confirms the organization’s successful contribution to the mission of the land grant university
  • gives CDE and the University’s faculty, staff, and students a rich opportunity to collaborate through professional development, outreach, and scholarship
  • allows CDE to become a living laboratory for research on disability and employment issues

The Center on Disability and Employment continues to serve as your resource for furthering disability employment outcomes in Tennessee, the Southeast region, and across the nation.
